Amethyst is a variety of quartz which occurs either in crystalline or massive form. The colour ranges from deep purple to pale lavender. Amethyst is a “stone of spirituality and contentment”. It facilitates transmutation of lower energies into the higher frequencies of both the spiritual and ethereal levels. Amethyst bestows stability, strength, invigoration and peace.
